Sustainability in Print
We think sustainable living needs to enter the mainstream. And that’s not going to happen until people from all walks of life understand what it involves, and are excited enough to take action.
We communicate our work in many ways, but often find that getting things down on paper helps.
Across the Group we contribute to policy, planning and other topical debates through commentary and feature articles in the specialist press.
Beyond Green Living’s words on paper focus primarily on sustainable lifestyles – helping to explore and describe ways of living that are healthy, ethical, in balance with natural systems and enhance our quality of life.
Our articles, interviews and features have appeared in a broad range of publications including the Daily and Sunday Telegraph, Times, Independent, Sunday Mirror, Evening Standard, Londoner, Hackney Gazette, Glasgow Herald, as well as Radio Times, New Woman, Harpers Bazaar, Red, Eve, Easy Living, Country Homes & Interiors and Saga magazines.
Joanna Yarrow has written three books designed to make green living easy and accessible for a broad range of readers, which have been published internationally:
1001 Ways You Can Save the Planet – Practical Ideas to Heal and Change the World (Duncan Baird Publishers, 2007)
How to Reduce Your Carbon Footprint (Duncan Baird Publishers, 2008)
Eco-logical! (Duncan Baird Publishers, 2009)
She writes a monthly ‘Everyday Eco’ column for Country Homes and Interiors Magazine.
