Joanna Yarrow chaired an interactive panel debate at this year’s Environment in Television and New Media Awards at the Institution of Engineering and Technology.
Joanna was delighted to join a range of green pioneers and ambassadors including Donna Air and Livia Guggioli in being awarded a Natural Beauty Honour by Neals Yard Remedies ‘in recognition of an outstanding contribution to promoting natural health, lifestyle and environmental awareness’. Joanna commented “this is the nice bit of my job!”.
Joanna joined experts from various fields to discuss the role of technology and the importance of personal action in combatting climate change in a debate at the Science Museum’s Dana Centre.
Joanna Yarrow spoke in a question time debate at the WRAP annual conference. Chaired by John Humphries, panellists including Hilary Benn MP, Will Day (Chair of the Sustainable Development Commission) and Marc Bolland (CEO of Morrisons) addressed questions from the audience on a range of topics relating to waste and resources.
